He began drawing at the age of 7, inspired by competing with a school friend and using Cuban state newspaper photos as references. Lopez pursued his education in computer science and visual communication at a state university, ultimately earning two bachelor's degrees—a dual degree in graphic design and computer animation—and a master's in computer information systems. His graphic designs have been featured in national magazines like Ocean Drive, and his original paintings are held in various private collections. Painting serves as my happy place, allowing me to express my subconscious thoughts, unwind my stressed psyche, and renew myself through diverse artistic mediums, including art prints that capture my vision.
